Many films have been made about Carbeth, its history, its ethos and its inhabitants. Below are a selection with a brief description.

 

Orienteering

Carbeth and music, in the minds of many, the perfect combination. This poetic little film beautifully marries both. Produced by the 'Docken Leaf' project its combination of highly talented musicians, directors and photographers is reflected in its quality. Adding to this, its link to the 'Tiny Changes', charity places it in a category of its own.

A lovely film about 'plotlanders' There are many similarities between Carbeth and Englands 'plotlanders'. Well worth watching for its sensitive approach and exquisite filming,

A nostalgic look at Carbeth in the mid sixties. A film of family life, contributed by Anita McLean (formerly hut 149) ...a day at Carbeth.

 

 

 

When Summers Were Longer

A lovely short film which captures the spirit of Carbeth. Made in the 90s it is dedicated to Hutters past and present.
